Depending on your permissions and connected accounts, we may collect:

• Workout data such as activity type, distance, duration, calories, pace, splits, and timestamps.
• Heart rate data, including samples and workout averages.
• Route/location data such as workout map points and elevation, when available.
• Account and app data such as app settings, basic diagnostics, and sync metadata.

2. HealthKit Data

If you grant permission, ARCYN reads workout-related data from Apple HealthKit. We use this data to show your activity feed, detailed workout views, trends, and coaching insights. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising.

3. Strava Data

If you connect Strava, ARCYN accesses Strava data that you authorize (for example activity details and streams) to fill missing workout details such as route maps, heart rate, and related metrics. Strava data is processed according to this policy and your granted Strava scopes.

4. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and improve workout tracking, summaries, and coaching features.
• Sync workout details from connected providers you authorize.
• Cache data locally to improve app performance and reduce repeated API calls.
• Maintain reliability, security, and fraud prevention.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal workout data. We may disclose data only in the following cases:

• With service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations.
• With connected platforms you choose to authorize (for example, Strava) as required for requested features.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
• As part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to applicable law.

6. Data Storage and Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Some workout details may be cached locally on your device to improve performance. You can disconnect integrations and remove app data using in-app controls or by contacting us.

7. Your Choices and Rights

• You can revoke HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
• You can disconnect Strava at any time from within the app.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk and limit unauthorized access.

9. Children

ARCYN is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required.
